The Training Plan Initiator (TPI) has been developed to help RTOs, AACs, Employers and prospective learners produce the relevant Training Plan required to complete the respectively chosen Electrotechnology Training Package (UTE99) Qualification.

The information is structured to assist produce the right Training Plan that meets your needs. You will be able to see the units of competency that must be attained to get the qualification you have chosen, and most importantly what training modules (off the job) and work performance modules (on the job) you will need to undertake to achieve the units of competency.

It will also help you choose the area you wish to specialise in.

The information in the TPI uses current industry terminology for eg: Electrical mechanics are now referred to as Systems Electricians; Electrical Fitters as Assembly and Servicing Technicians.
