The Certificate III in Electrotechnology Module, NUE505A Electrical Systems Safety Assessment Guide has been produced for use by Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) utilising the EE-Oz Training Standards Competency Development Schedule and related Training Program. The Assessment Guide should be read in conjunction with these documents. For those wishing to utilise the resource please find attached the NUE 505A Assessment Guide.

The Guide outlines:
       
  • the intention of the module,
  • the scope of the assessment, and
  • advice on designing and managing assessment activities

Also, included in the Guide are appendices with a table of specification sample tests covering the scope of assessment for the module. Initially, training/assessment providers are free to use these tests, however it is expected that they will proceed to develop new tests based on the same table of specifications criteria for subsequent assessment events. EE-Oz Training Standards will investigate the possibility of developing an on-going Assessment Item Bank from which these tests could be developed in the future.

The Guide is an eight part Resource and two of the eight have been included on this website as a taster of the information included in the resource. All eight parts are available from EE-Oz Training Standards.
